Purpose: This blog is being started primarily for the Bell family to share our daily devotionals with each other. However, it isn't only for the Bell family to use, anyone who happens to wander onto this site is welcome join this discussion at anytime.
Goal for 2009: To grasp who God really is through his inspired word and this spirit lead discussion.
How this is gonna work Each week I will post what we will be discussing for the week. I will also share information from commentary's and other sources to supplement our study.
Rules of this blog:
1) I ask that everyone be considerate of everyones opinions even if you disagree with them. In other words, don't tell some they are wrong, but you can say you disagree. When we write people can not hear the inflection of our voice as well as in a conversation so please think before you write and don't write if your angry. Just because I have the power to moderate comments doesn't mean I want to.
2) The online equivalent of yelling IS TYPING IN ALL CAPS!!! So... lets not do that please.
Who I am: I'm Abby Bell the Children's Minister for the Skyline Church of Christ. I agreed to start this blog at my mothers suggestion for a family devotional. I'm currently working on my Masters of Divinity from Harding University.
While I do come from a Church of Christ background I hope this discussion will include more perspective then from one denomination.
